A short spiritual journey without rushing
This three-day trip combines Haridwar’s riverfront with Rishikesh’s ghats and ashrams. Two hotel nights allow an arrival day, a local touring day and a return day. One hotel base keeps the programme simple; splitting the nights between Haridwar and Rishikesh is also possible when hotel changes and luggage movement suit your group.
Road route and local movement
The Delhi approach commonly uses the Meerut–Muzaffarnagar–Roorkee corridor towards Haridwar, with the onward road to Rishikesh. Actual routing and journey time depend on traffic and local restrictions. Festival dates can change parking and vehicle access near the ghats. Ask where the vehicle stops and how far guests need to walk.
Haridwar sightseeing and Ganga Aarti
Har Ki Pauri is the main riverfront visit in this programme. Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi or other temple visits are optional choices that need separate time for queues and access. Do not place all temple visits on the arrival afternoon. Confirm the Aarti timing close to travel and reach with enough time for the walking approach and crowd conditions.
Rishikesh sightseeing at your pace
Choose a small group of ghats, ashrams and cultural visits rather than trying to cover the entire town in one day. Triveni Ghat, the Parmarth Niketan area and selected temple visits can shape a spiritual programme. Bridges and pedestrian access should be checked for the dates; do not assume a particular bridge crossing will be open. Longer walks need a separate discussion.
Rafting, yoga and optional experiences
A rafting session, yoga class or other activity is a separate booking choice. Check operation, the provider’s eligibility requirements, timing and charges before adding it. An activity may replace part of the sightseeing day. A spiritual itinerary does not automatically include rafting, equipment, classes or any special temple access.
Family and senior traveller planning
Tell us about limited walking tolerance, stairs and the need for a slower pace. Choose hotel access and the ghat approach accordingly, and leave time for rest, meals and queues. Carry suitable clothing for sacred places and follow local instructions. A comfortable private vehicle helps transfers but does not remove pedestrian sections at the riverfront.
Choose your vehicle and hotel arrangement
A couple or small family can request a car with driver. For a larger group, compare a Tempo Traveller, Force Urbania or bus according to passengers, bags and the route. Confirm the actual seating layout and luggage space before booking. A vehicle name alone does not establish a particular interior or equipment. Ask about air-conditioning, pickup points, daily route and any local vehicle change.
Choose hotels by location as well as category. Confirm the hotel names or agreed alternatives, room type, occupancy, extra beds and meal plan. Mention children’s ages, early arrival and any need for a lift or fewer stairs. Early check-in, late checkout and special room requests depend on confirmation and may cost extra.
Package price and the quotation you receive
The price depends on departure dates, guests, number of rooms, hotel selection, vehicle, route and included services. Ask for the complete payable amount rather than comparing headline rates. Your quotation should identify hotel nights, meal plan, pickup and drop, sightseeing transport, driver allowance, tolls, parking and applicable taxes. Monument tickets, guides, rides and optional activities should each be marked as included or payable separately.
Delhi pickup, airport arrival and return planning
Share the exact Delhi or NCR address, or the airport terminal and flight details, plus any additional boarding points. Agree waiting time, pickup instructions and any extra transfer charge. Avoid attaching a long road transfer to a tight flight connection. On return, allow a practical traffic and airport reporting buffer; a late arrival should have an agreed alternative plan.
How to confirm your holiday
Send your dates, passengers, room needs, pickup, hotel preference and comfortable budget range. Review the route and overnight stays, then the itemised quotation. Confirm service availability, deposit, balance payment, cancellation charges and changes to the programme before payment. Keep the written confirmation and agreed contact details for the trip. Plan your trip with Udan Travel, operated under the registered trade name Udan Travel Ind Services.
Explore transport options for your group
Compare our car hire with driver, Tempo Traveller hire, Force Urbania rental and bus rental options. Request a vehicle suitable for the route and luggage before finalising your holiday.
