A Char Dham journey from Delhi needs more than a vehicle reservation: confirm pilgrimage access, dates, road stages, overnight stops and non-road arrangements. Share your group size, luggage and return plan, then request a vehicle suitable for the agreed route and a written quotation.
The four destinations and their access
Uttarakhand's Char Dham circuit includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Road transport does not take passengers directly to every shrine. Kedarnath and Yamunotri need separate last-stage pilgrimage arrangements; do not describe them as direct Tempo Traveller temple drops.
A flexible itinerary framework from Delhi
First agree your Delhi collection and an initial overnight base. Then plan the Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath stages around confirmed access and your group's pace. Keep separate time for non-road stages, overnight stays and the return to Delhi. Do not compress the whole circuit into an unverified fixed-duration promise.
Registration, season and weather checks
Check the official pilgrimage registration information, announced shrine opening and closing dates, and current route advisories before paying for travel. Road access and services can change during poor weather. Ask how a closure or itinerary change affects the quotation, hotel arrangements and vehicle duty.
Overnight stops and services to quote separately
Ask for the agreed overnight places and accommodation arrangements in writing. Verify whether the offer is vehicle-only or includes hotels, meals or guide services. Any trek assistance, local transfers, pony, porter, helicopter or other pilgrimage services must be independently confirmed if requested; availability and inclusion are not assumed.
Boarding, luggage and travel pace
List the passenger count excluding the driver and the full baggage load. Ask for the actual layout and practical storage. Agree rest stops and manageable daily stages. Explain any boarding assistance required; vehicle service does not establish that every passenger can complete a walking pilgrimage stage.

Can a Tempo Traveller take us directly to Kedarnath Temple?
No. The road journey and the non-road pilgrimage stage must be planned separately. Confirm the current permitted vehicle drop and onward arrangements using official access information.
Does a Delhi Char Dham vehicle quote include hotels and trek services?
Only written inclusions should be assumed. Request accommodation, meals, local transfers and pilgrimage assistance as separate items if needed.
Is there one guaranteed Char Dham itinerary duration?
No fixed duration is promised here. Confirm access dates, overnight stages, pilgrimage arrangements and the group's pace before finalising the schedule.
How do we handle a weather-related route change?
Check current advisories and discuss the revised route with the booking team. Obtain the updated itinerary and any changes to vehicle or accommodation charges in writing.
Can the group retain the same vehicle for the whole circuit?
Request that arrangement explicitly. Confirm allocation, road stages, driver duty, overnight parking and the Delhi return in the written quotation.

This is an adaptable example requiring suitable shrine dates, registration, road access, accommodation and the group’s pace. Kedarnath and Yamunotri onward travel is separate from the road vehicle. Add days when the group, weather or access needs them; it is not a guaranteed completion schedule.
Use the official Tourist Care Uttarakhand registration portal and current official notices before fixing dates. A vehicle reservation does not grant shrine admission or reserve trek, local transfer or helicopter services.
Organise the pilgrimage group and its road duty
Assign one coordinator for passenger lists, hotel addresses and each road-stage collection. A corporate or extended-family pilgrimage still needs the full itinerary, baggage count and return plan. Avoid adding unrelated wedding or sightseeing days to the Yatra quote; describe any extra Delhi guest transfer as a separate leg.

Count passenger seats separately from the driver. Send the number of large suitcases, small bags and any stroller or mobility equipment. Ask for the offered configuration and current photos. Bags need secure storage without blocking boarding or using a required passenger seat. Explain assistance needs before accepting a quotation.
