For four days, Mussoorie–Landour, Nainital–Bhimtal or Shimla–Kufri can keep the road journey manageable. Choose one hotel base and leave free time between visits. Udaipur’s four-day plan suits flight or suitable train arrival; adding a Delhi road journey changes the duration.
For a week, Shimla–Manali or Dharamshala–Dalhousie gives each town more breathing room. Auli needs intermediate overnight breaks and weather flexibility. Kashmir’s six-day version assumes Srinagar flight arrival and separately confirmed local transfers.
