This extension adds a Sikh sacred site and Punjab’s urban culture to the Mughal and Rajput heritage circuit. It is most useful when Amritsar has its own time, with a local transfer plan and clear onward travel instead of a rushed return to Delhi.
The sample ends in Amritsar. Delhi return is separate unless quoted. An Attari ceremony visit is optional and depends on current security, booking and visitor instructions. Do not rely on a fixed ceremony time or assume a border crossing is part of a sightseeing visit.

Day 1 · Delhi arrival

Meet at the agreed terminal and transfer to the hotel. Keep the first day light and confirm any short outing after allowing for baggage and check-in.
Send your flight details and a contact method before travel. If a room is needed well before standard check-in, arrange it explicitly with the property.
Day 2 · Delhi sightseeing
Overnight: Delhi
Use a focused Old Delhi visit and selected New Delhi heritage sights rather than an exhaustive landmark list. A local guide can be requested for interpretation and walking assistance.
Discuss the pace and meal breaks. A private vehicle does not eliminate walking, security screening or steps at monuments and religious sites.
Day 3 · Delhi to Agra
Overnight: Agra
Travel to Agra and check into the agreed property. Choose Agra Fort if the timing works and prepare for the Taj Mahal the next permitted morning.
Taj Mahal general viewing is closed on Fridays. The sequence must be adjusted if your dates place the proposed visit on Friday.
Day 4 · Taj Mahal and Jaipur transfer
Overnight: Jaipur
Visit the Taj Mahal, then return for breakfast and checkout before the Jaipur drive. Fatehpur Sikri is an optional extension of the transfer day.
Keep the evening flexible. No full Jaipur programme should depend on an exact road arrival after a morning monument visit.
Day 5 · Jaipur city and Amber
Overnight: Jaipur
Combine Amber Palace with a selected city programme, such as City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Let walking ability and interests determine the final list.
Confirm tickets, guide language and any local access vehicle. Shopping or cultural performances remain optional and separately agreed.
Day 6 · Jaipur to Delhi transit
Overnight: Delhi transit
Travel to the confirmed Delhi hotel. This transit night creates a clearer handover to a booked flight or rail sector than a tight connection after the road drive.
Confirm whether the main vehicle duty ends at the hotel or includes the following terminal transfer. Record any separate local vehicle and driver contact in the final programme.
Day 7 · Delhi to Amritsar
Overnight: Amritsar
Transfer to the correct station or airport for the confirmed service. Meet the local arrival transfer in Amritsar and check into the hotel.
A Golden Temple visit may be possible later if arrival and the group’s energy allow it. Keep two Amritsar nights so a delayed arrival does not erase the city experience.
Day 8 · Amritsar and optional Attari
Overnight: Amritsar
Visit the Golden Temple respectfully with head covering and footwear removal. A selected old-city and Jallianwala Bagh visit can follow, allowing meal and rest breaks.
Attari is an optional afternoon programme only after the current visitor arrangements are checked. Keep required identification available through the proper booking process and follow security instructions; no entry or ceremony guarantee is implied.
Day 9 · Amritsar departure

Leave for the agreed Amritsar airport, railway station or onward accommodation. Allow a buffer appropriate to the actual service.
The nine-day example finishes in Amritsar. If flying internationally from Delhi, request a separate return and sufficient connection or overnight time rather than assuming it is included.

For Amritsar, compare a stay close to the Golden Temple with one in a more vehicle-accessible part of the city. Old-city access can involve a pedestrian approach and porter help. Confirm the actual hotel entrance, lift and luggage arrangement; proximity on a map does not establish easy boarding.
Ask for the actual property and room category, not just a star label. State whether you need one double bed or twin beds, an extra bed, connecting rooms, a lift or a step-free route.
