Day 1 · Delhi arrival and introduction
Overnight: Delhi
Meet at the airport or hotel and choose a limited city introduction only if arrival time permits. A long flight and immigration can leave little useful sightseeing time.
Keep the accommodation and meal plan simple on arrival. An early room is available only if the hotel confirms the arrangement; do not assume a morning landing includes immediate check-in.
Day 2 · Delhi to Agra
Overnight: Agra
Travel after breakfast and settle into the Agra hotel. Choose Agra Fort as the main afternoon visit if the road journey and opening conditions allow it.
Prepare for the Taj Mahal visit the next morning, checking that the date is not Friday. Keep baggage and prohibited items out of the monument visit according to current security guidance.
Day 3 · Taj Mahal and Jaipur
Overnight: Jaipur
Visit the Taj Mahal early, return for breakfast and checkout, and drive towards Jaipur. Add Fatehpur Sikri only if agreed with enough time for the approach and visit.
Use the evening for rest or a short optional market walk. Save Amber Palace and the main city programme for the dedicated following day.
Day 4 · Jaipur sightseeing
Overnight: Jaipur
Combine Amber Palace with selected city sights such as City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Decide whether to enter Hawa Mahal or use an exterior photo stop.
Ask for a guide in your preferred language if needed, subject to availability. Confirm entry tickets, local access transport and lunch arrangements instead of assuming they are part of the vehicle hire.
Day 5 · Jaipur to Ajmer and Pushkar
Overnight: Pushkar
Travel to Ajmer and use the designated vehicle drop point for the agreed Dargah visit. The group may need to walk through busy lanes, so choose an appropriate pace and meeting point.
Continue to Pushkar for hotel check-in. Keep any evening lake walk light and respectful; a second day is available for the town rather than rushing both religious centres.
Day 6 · Pushkar at your pace
Overnight: Pushkar
Walk around a suitable part of the lake area and visit the Brahma Temple where access is permitted. Take local advice about footwear, photography and religious activity.
A hill viewpoint, craft stop or other paid outing is optional and should match mobility and weather. Do not combine every temple, a long climb and a distant drive simply to fill the day.
Day 7 · Pushkar to Delhi
Overnight: No hotel night included in this sample
Check out after the agreed reporting time and begin the long return journey. Allow comfort and meal breaks, plus the final Delhi approach.
A late international flight still needs a conservative buffer. If the planned arrival makes the connection fragile, add a Delhi night or request an alternative departure arrangement.
